Best venue ever....best day of my life

    20th October, 2011

So we got married April this year, and after inspecting a few city locations found Glen Davis Boutique Hotel. We decided to head along to check it out before making a final decision....driving along the road we were blown away with the views on approach. Trust me the photo's don't do it justice....it has to be seen to be believed. As we pulled into the hotel we both already knew in our hearts we had found the place we were going to be married. This was only confirmed once we met Alison and Adam, they are down to earth genuine caring people. Now I will finish by just saying that our friends and family are still raving about the wedding..even months after our special day, the food was excellent, location is amazing, perfect in every way. The fact that we had a whole weekend (Friday thru to Sunday) to celebrate our wedding not only made it better for us, but all our guests really got to know each other. This venue is unique and offers a great way to disconnect with your everyday life and properly connect with your loved ones!

A wonderfully unique venue and so much fun!

    21st October, 2011

We held our wedding at the Glen Davis Boutique Hotel in March this year and it was the most wonderful day (or should I say weekend). We wanted something a little bit different and this unique venue certainly delivered. The Capertee Valley is spectacular and having the entire hotel to ourselves was just perfect. There is something for everyone - whether it's lounging by the pool, or enjoying a game of pool in the bar or just relaxing in the lounge. The food was superb and Alison and Adam were very accommodating with all of our requests. Our guests had such a good time - they still comment on what a fun wedding it was. Many of them were from Sydney and they just loved getting away from it all. I can thoroughly reccommed the Glen Davis Boutique Hotel as a wedding destination - we had a blast and didn't want to leave!

    The Perfect Venue

    23rd November, 2011

We found Glen Davis Boutique Hotel after extensive internet searches and from the website, it looked great. It wasn’t until we went and visited to check it out, that we realised just how amazingly special the place is. As you drive down the road to Glen Davis, and you come into the clearing of the Capertee Valley, you are surrounded by magnificent mountainous escarpments. Then, you arrive at a stunning art deco hotel which is filled with old world charm, and period features and furniture. We were blown away by the beauty and splendour, both of the natural environment and this hidden gem of a hotel. The hotel has been restored to the original grandeur, and has been kept true to the period. It is so gorgeous and has such a character of its own, that it felt like we were just adding the finishing touches. Our minds were instantly made up when we met the owners, Adam and Alison, who were so warm, friendly and lovely. Alison is an amazing cook, the food was wonderful. They made planning our wedding and the big day, relaxed and hassle free. I wish we could do it all over again!
